Hi Adrian,

| The messages currently generated by the server itself like 'User X
| joined room Y' will be replaced by presence notifications using the
| conference event package (RFC4575, http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4575).
| It will then be the SIP client responsable for displaying these messages
| localized in its own graphical interface and the server will sent no
| english messages through the same communication channel as it does now.
|
| Are these the messages you refer to or are there others?

Well, since I didn't have too many people join me during my test
actually it wasn't ;). I was referring mainly to the welcoming message:

Welcome to the room, Michiel. You are the only participant in the room

I assume people will want to say stuff like:

"Welcome to chatserver X, Michiel. By using this chat server you are
committing to behaving decently and not say naughty stuff. Don't use
sexually explicit language towards minors. If you are under 18, this
chat server is not for you. If you want to know about our privacy
policy, please visit webpage xxx. You are now entering the chat server.
You are the only participant in the room. Do you want to talk to yourself?"

but then of course in their language of choice, since this is often a
legal requirement.

Best,
Michiel
