Hi Dan, all,

python-gnutls (which plays its part in the SIP Simple SDK framework,
Blink and Sylk) currently is no longer in sync with gnutls which has
seen a major release in 2011 with quite some drastic changes (such as
getting rid of gnutls-extra) and very interesting additional features.

As the stable version of gnutls has already moved into various
*nix distro's such as Fedora, Arch and will soon be just about
everywhere, it would be great if there would be an updated version of
python-gnutls so that all the software that depends on the currently
supported feature set can continue to work with the more recent
versions of that library as well.

There have been a number of people investigating what changes are
needed and suggesting some rough patches [1], but I don't know if these
have already been sent to you:
