[Blink] Revealing incoming CLID from CLID withheld numbers...

Hi Adrian,

OK. I've installed the ageing SoloRecord software and it no longer enables me to reveal incoming CLID where the caller has chosen not to block their outgoing CLID. There could be a number of reasons for this. It worked in 2008 and perhaps the 'hole' in the protocol (or the implementation) has been plugged since then. Also, I was using Vonage at the time and perhaps they were not implementing the protocol in the right way. And now I use Voipfone.

However, I have found this article 'Hacking Caller ID: unblocking blocked phone numbers' which perhaps suggests that there is still a way to do this:

But I guess that's really before it gets to Blink.
