[Blink] Mac 10.9 and Blink Lite: never get asked to allow Contacts

This is an OSX function. I would uninstall and install the app again. It must ask for permission.

Or perhaps you did not check the box to enable access to system contacts? This option is in Blink Preferences -> Contacts.
