That should not happen, since we have a 3 second timeout for DNS lookups. Can you please enable notifications trace (find it in Blink -> Preferences -> Logging -> Notifications trace) and send the following file (privately) to me?

  * Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Blink\logs\notifications_trace.txt
  * Windows Vista and 7: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Blink\logs\notifications_trace.txt
