[Blink] Looking up destination slowness

I am using Blink for Windows while on the move and via a range of network
options -wired/land based broadband, WiFi, and cellular 3G.

 

In some of the WiFi and cellular 3G locations I get a really long wait while
the Looking Up Destinations step executes.

 

I enter a PSTN number in the address bar, press enter get to the Looking Up
Destinations step in milliseconds, then seem to hang at this step for
anywhere between 60 and 120 seconds (or more).

 

Can anyone indicate how the signalling works and why it might be getting
taking as long as it is with the Looking Up Destinations step?
