[Sipchatserver] How to operate the server - solved

I can report successful operation under both Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit and
FreeBSD 7.1!

no, I didn't - it said in the file itself:

~         'can be 0 (port will be automatically allocated)
~          or a valid port number'

so I left it unchanged. I changed it and now it works (don't know why
the automatic allocation fails, maybe a sensible default should be
suggested with a comment #)! Any other parameters one needs to set by hand?

P.S. I would love to be able to translate/personalise the server
responses to local languages - that is definitely something that people
will need. Is that in some way possible, using standard XLIFF or PO
files? Maybe this library can be of help:
