[SIP Beyond VoIP] sip presence <-> sylkserver? <-> ejabberd

Thanks,

First thing I seem to do wrong is that I use the same domain on the SIP and XMPP side.
I’m going to read further into the RFC and see if I can get it running.

This is the relevant part implemented in SylkServer:

http://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/rfc7248/

SylkServer XMPP<--->SIP gateway handles one event of type presence, that is SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY dialogs for even presence are translated into XMPP equivalents. This is described in a few RFCs listed here:

BFL is another type of event, it is not presence and without further developments is not handled by the software.

Hi,

I’m trying to come up with a way to combine Sip presence and xmpp presence.
What I want to achieve is get a BLF light on a hardphone working by changing my status in a jabber/xmpp client (jitsi) and also other way around.

For test I’m using sip acc 100 at test.com<mailto:100 at test.com> (configured on a hardphone) and also in ejabberd I’ve made 100 at test.com<mailto:100 at test.com> (connected on jitsi).
I have a second hardphone 101 at test.com<mailto:101 at test.com> which has a blf subscription on 100 at test.com<mailto:100 at test.com>.
Using opensips as presence server this all works, so I initiate a call on 100, opensips creates the dialog and generates the needed publish and notifies. (by using pua_dialoginfo and dialoginfo_set(), so no publishes from hardphones)
What I want next is when I initiate a call on 100 at test.com<mailto:100 at test.com> the jitsi client goes on in a call status. Or I change on the jitsi client my status to in a call and the blf light on 101 at test.com<mailto:101 at test.com> should start blinking.

So I need some way to transfer presence info between ejabberd and opensips. I’ve tried pua_xmpp which I couldn’t get to work. And now I have found Sylkserver.
I’ve tried t_relaying the relevant subscribes, notifies and publishes into SylkServer and I haven’t been able to get more out of it then a 481.
I did configure the domain and I made a application_map test.com/xmppgateway<http://test.com/xmppgateway>.
Set the xmppgatewayini domain to test.com<http://test.com/> and made the srv records.

Is SylkServer able to do what I want and am I just doing it wrong?

Thanks,
