I'm sure it is, but we did have problems like this before, it's a problem in our library and I'm trying to a) understand if this is the exact problem, and b) understand why it segfaults instead of just giving an error.

Please open the core file with gdb as I mentioned:

gdb python core

Then in the CLI presented, enable logging:

set logging on

The get the full backtrace:

bt full

The exit:

exit

You should now have a gdb.txt file in the current directory, send that one.
