[Blink] Sound some time after connection

Some time ago I have noticed that there is sound, probably played by Blink, some time after connection. I have recording of conversation automatically enabled for all calls and this sound seems to indicate recording. Is it true? If yes, then is this sound played only locally or other party of conversation can hear it too? Is there any way do disable it?
