[Blink] echo cancellation delay

I'm trying out latest Blink 1.2.1 on Windows and it is working great except
from one thing; a lot of echo on the other end when outputting incoming
audio through speakers. Echo cancellation is enabled in settings.

I notice that the echo cancellation seems to kick in and start working after
a few minutes of talking and then all is ok. Is there a way to make it start
working quicker?
