Adrian, this is a really weird conversation.  I don't know what
definition of `ignore' you are using, but you never responded to the
issue of the RFC's, not even in this email.  Just saying you didn't
ignore it doesn't make it true.  You have not addressed the fact that
I brought it up 3 times.

So, the RFC's say it's optional.  What do you say?
