[Blink] Blink Pro slow on Yosemite

Adrian,  

   It's not just my computer.   We get the same slowness on several Yosemite machines, and Bas den Hond <business at butdifferent.com>  chimed in a yesterday and said he was seeing 20+ second startups.   I think its a real problem and a "it works on my machine" response isn't really that helpful.  Is there any other diagnostic data I can provide to maybe help narrow down the issue ?
