[Blink] Virgin SuperHub crashes when I run up Blink to connect to Sipgate

Going beyond the absurdity that a router would crash depending on the content of packets send by an application, it should not, the only explanation I have is that your router intercepts the SIP traffic, tries do do something with it and being poorly programmed it is causing the router to crash. Is hard to guess what part of the SIP signalling generated by Blink causes your router to crash. This is a question for the router manufacturer rather than for us, as developer as Blink. Empirically you can try to disable certain features of Blink like ICE nat traversal.
This can be related to a wider problem and the solution is described here (disable the 'so called' SIP support in your router):
