[Blink] Blink Digest, Vol 25, Issue 13

Hi, Adrian and Daniel:

If you use something like an Intertex IX78 it's easy to create the forking or parallel call scenario without support from the service provider. Here's an example from my own setup:

http://marc.clarify-it.com/d/dlkg6x

For this one, if a call comes to my Blink Pro client (949-873-0503, 1003 or macbookpro), it simultaneously rings my desk phone (marc, 1000, or 949-873-0500).

Thanks for the great program.

marc.

And which device seems to be random as I start and quit Blink ? or connect and disconnect the ethernet cable in the case of the Snom 870. Is this the way it has to be or is there a something somewhere in the chain that I can change to get every device to ring?

Most if not all SIP service providers support such feature which is basic SIP functionality. So it is not up to Blink or Snom, is up to the SIP server where they both are registered if the both ring at the same time or in sequence.
