it is nice to notice that in the current apple and google dominated
closed worlds also open systems are still being supported.

i have a stupid question regarding the linux version: when i start
latest blink, it registers and sends out various subscribe requests, but
no single publish request about its own state.  and if i change 'o
Available' to 'o Offline', nothing happens on the wire.  any idea why it
might be so?

in preferences, i have defined XCAP Root URL and Publish interval is 600
seconds.
