[Blink] SOCKS support for Blink?

I'm running Blink on MacOS 10.5.8.  Ideally, I'd like an option to
point Blink at a SOCKS server (or at least honor the SOCKS settings I
have for the Mac), because the latency through my local SOCKS server
to the SIP provider sure beats the latency of some of the sites that I
occasionally have to VPM into.  Are there any plans for SOCKS support?
