[SIP Beyond VoIP] xcap error upon sip-session startup

if i have in sip-settings xcap.enabled=True, i get error messages to
console when i start sip-session, but they disappear so fast that i
don't have time to read them.  i have tried turning on all kinds of
logs, but don't get them to any log file.  i have also tried to redirect
standard error output to a file, but then sip-session fails to start at
all.

any suggestions?
