I've set up a SIP account, but haven't used the SIP often (I'm not really sure how to make SIP calls or find people I know with SIP lines/services). Call recording on its own cannot have an influence on the audio quality. Perhaps there is a completely different reason for what you experience. Bad audio quality is typically caused by be caused by packet loss. You can see for each audio call the round trip time, packet loss and jitter buffer in the Session Info panel.<br>

Can you be more specific what do you mean by quality, and give an example for those figures or paste the content of the info panel when problem occurs?<br>
