We do not know what causes this. It only seems to happen to some people, not everybody.
Try this workaround:

When asked, deny blink. Then go to the firewall preferences and manually switch blink from denied to allowed. Somebody reported this solved the issue.

Hi,

On Snow Leopard, I have my Firewall set to only allow white-listed apps to go out.

Generally, once a new app is launched, SL requires an authorization and adds the app to the white list. Then on subsequent runs, authorization is never requested again.
But with Blink, I always get the authorization request every time I launch it, any idea why?

Thanks,
