After debugging a bit it seems that this happens whenever Blink listens on a TCP or TLS port. If I disable TCP or TLS port and use only UDP, the firewall does not prompt again. Listening on the same port does not help. Googling a bit it seems that is a wider problem, people report this happening with Adium, Transmission or Skype. We do not know what causes this. It only seems to happen to some people, not everybody.<br>

Try this workaround:<br>

When asked, deny blink. Then go to the firewall preferences and manually switch blink from denied to allowed. Somebody reported this solved the issue.<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br>

On Snow Leopard, I have my Firewall set to only allow white-listed apps to go out.<br>
<br>
Generally, once a new app is launched, SL requires an authorization and adds the app to the white list. Then on subsequent runs, authorization is never requested again.<br>
But with Blink, I always get the authorization request every time I launch it, any idea why?<br>
