Very interesting!

I have evaluated
about 15 other SIP softphones
and your product is allready the best.

I am on the phone about 5 hours
every day, and have to call Lots of
People. Perhaps two ideas you could implement:

a) favorite contacts (like "star" a contact or 'unstar') - this would allow
To call important contacts quicker.

b) API to call a phone number. Some
Other Programms offer a Simple Command line exe, Day "blinccall.exe -call 212-888-8888". The call would then Be initiated in the GUI. This
Would allow to outsource the
contact organization to other apps.

This all said - your contact search is
Allready Quite useable - better than
most products and also contact
Integration with google/... Is really
Good.

Keeping the Google Contacts into their own group has to do with the way we thought about the contacts management in order to support different entities like Bonjour Neighbors, Missed Calls, OSX AddressBook, Google Contacts and other things yet to come. We had to make some compromises to accommodate all these possible combinations and this is one of them.

Thus we'd need to duplicate contacts for each group they belong, which is not a very nice thing to do. There were other reasons, but is the most important one I recall right now.
